A little about me
Hi! I’m Makayla Kanerviko and I’m from Syracuse, New York. I am currently a senior at Elon University pursuing a B.F.A. in Dance Performance & Choreography and a B.S.B.A in Entrepreneurship. I focus on classical ballet and modern technique while also training extensively in areas such as jazz, tap, and partnering work. During my time at Elon, I have performed in the Fall Dance Concert, Dancing in the Landscape, Spring Dance Concert, Black History Month Dance Concert, and various other student works. This past summer I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy and perform at the Florence Dance Festival in a piece by Lauren Kearns.
